Rules and Guidelines
1. ELIGIBILITY (back to the top)
The Contest is open to all male and female residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia and Canada (excluding Quebec) between the ages of 5 and adult as of June 18, 2017. Experience is not necessary.
2. CONTEST PERIOD (back to the top)
This competition will begin June 18, 2017 and end June 18, 2017. VOGUE Modeling reserves the right to terminate the contest by giving notice in enough time deemed appropriate by VOGUE Modeling.
3. ENTRY - How to Register (back to the top)
REGISTER ON LINE, OR AT CASTING CALLS. Visit supermodel.voguemodeling.com, or voguemodeling.com. Call 800-383-6685 for more details. Visit supermodel.voguemodeling.com or voguemodeling.com to find out when and where the casting calls will be held.
4. FEE - Costs (back to the top)
Every model must pay a $49 registration fee and must compete in all 4 categories of the show. The categories are "Black Pearl", "White As Snow", "Uptown Funk", and "The Glamorous". Each category cost $25. Every model is RESPONSIBLE for registering and making sure they have completed each category fee in order to be in the show. Ticket prices for the show are $25 standard, $40 VIP which includes hors' d'oeuvres & refreshments, swag bags, and special seating. You may pay for tickets with Visa/MC/Amex/Debit/Check/Cash through our e-commerce payment site on Pay pal or Eventbrite.com, supermodel 2017. If you would rather call the company to pay over the phone you may do so as well. (800-383-6685)
5. PRIZES (back to the top)
As part of their winnings, all 1st - 5th place winners will be announced on voguemodeling.com, supermodel.voguemodeling.com, ncfashionweek.net and all the social media sites. They will also be published in a couple of National Fashion Magazines. The 1st place winner will also receive a professional photoshoot, The Cover of Model World Magazine, a 5 foot trophy, and other prizes. VOGUE Modeling reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. There will be no substitution of prizes by prize winners. Prizes may not be redeemed for cash value. Prizes are non transferable. All prizes will be awarded, provided a sufficient number of qualifying entrants participate. No warranties are made with respect to prizes.
WINNERS SELECTION
Entrants will be judged by Independent Industry Professionals proficient in the art of fashion/modeling/entertainment or other industry fields. There will be 2 divisions of modeling competitions, Juniors and Adults. All entrants will be judged equally on the overall poise, grace, beauty, attractiveness, style, creativity, runway technique & showmanship. Participants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, which are final. Please visit the website 7 - 10 business days after the event for a list of winners. Winners will be announced at the SuperModel Competition Show in June.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, RIGHTS OF USE, MISCELLANEOUS
All participants and their parents/legal guardians (if participant is a minor in his/her state of residence) will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Liability and Publicity Release prior to show time. No model will be allowed to participate in the show without a signed form.
VOGUE Modeling and all parties acting in concert with VOGUE Modeling have all legal rights in the submitted entry, including but not limited to all trademark, copyright, patent or other intellectual property rights. Submission of registration expressly gives VOGUE Modeling and all parties acting in concert with VOGUE Modeling the right to modify, edit, publish or otherwise change or exploit the images contained in the materials in any manner whatsoever. Acceptance of a prize constitutes winners' permission to use their names, cities and states of residences, and likeness', and to be photographed for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation except where prohibited by law. All entrants release VOGUE Modeling and all parties acting in concert with VOGUE Modeling and their respective affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees and all other entities associated with the development and execution of this contest from any and all liability from injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from participation in this competition and/or from acceptance, possession or use of any prize. Contestants and winners agree to adhere to the rules of this competition.
VOGUE Modeling reserves its right in its sole discretion to modify or cancel all or any portions of the Competition because of technical errors or malfunctions, viruses, hackers, or for other reasons that corrupt the Competition in any manner. VOGUE Modeling also reserve the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entrant who fails to comply with these Official Rules, who attempts to enter the Competition in any manner or through any means other than as described in these Official Rules, or who attempts to disrupt the Competition or to circumvent any of these Official Rules.
By entering, entrants agree to be bound by the decisions of the judges and these Official Rules and to comply with all federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations. The prizes will be awarded. No prize substitutions, transfers, or cash alternatives permitted except VOGUE Modeling reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at VOGUE Modeling's discretion. By entering, each contestant accepts all of the conditions, restrictions, requirements, and/or regulations required by VOGUE Modeling and also agrees to accept delivery of prize.
